TO: ALL INSURERS LICENSED TO WRITE PRIVATE PASSENGER AUTOMOBILE AND FIRE OR FIRE AND EXTENDED COVERAGE INSURANCE POLICIES WHO ARE SUBJECT TO THE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS OF INSURANCE DEPARTMENT REGULATION NO. 90 (11 NYCRR 218) "PROHIBITION OF GEOGRAPHICAL REDLINING".
RE: REPORTS AND DATA SPECIFICATIONS
Department Circular Letter No. 5 (1982) revised the data specifications which must be furnished to the Insurance Department as required by Regulation 90.
As a result of the changes, insurers may not be able to furnish the "Regulation 90 - Data Specifications" by May 1, 1982, as is required by Circular Letter No. 5. Therefore, the deadline for furnishing the information specified in "Regulation 90 - Data Specifications" is hereby extended until August 1, 1982. Annually thereafter, the reports must be furnished on the May 1 following the close of the proceeding calendar year.
